The scientific investigation of allegedly haunted locations is nothing
like what you might have seen on television. It takes a lot of hard
work.
We
are currently looking for new members. All
positions are unpaid. In order to be considered you must:

Be over 21 years of age (there are no exceptions to this rule)

Be willing and able to commit on average 3 to 5 hours a week to the
group

Be a critical thinker

Have a sincere desire to research the paranormal

We are looking to
fill the following positions:
Historical
Researcher:
Are you interested in Arizona history? Are you friendly and good with
people? Do you love doing research on-line, poking around the stacks
at the library, visiting museums and local historical societies? Are
you fascinated by ghost stories? Do you want to get the story behind
the story? Are you very detailed oriented and have excellent written
and verbal communication skills? Then you are the person we are looking
for! Historical Researchers play a critical role on our investigations
finding out information about allegedly haunted sites around the state.
A background in journalism and/or history is highly desirable.
Field Investigators:
Field Investigators take an active role in researching, investigating,
and documenting reported paranormal phenomena. Ideal candidates are
comfortable with using technical equipment (like environmental monitors,
audio recording equipment, computers, and video equipment), are very
detailed oriented and have excellent written and verbal communication
skills. A background in psychology, counseling, law enforcement, EMS,
or a technical / trade skill (like engineering, construction, software
development, etc.) is highly desirable.
Psychic / Medium:
Do you consider yourself to be a sensitive medium or psychic and would
be willing to work with a research team under controlled conditions?
Sensitives provide the investigative team with information that can
not be detected with equipment and play an important role helping
to validate or dismiss the existence of reported paranormal activity.
Please
be aware that we receive many membership requests.
Applicants with graduate degrees (MA, MS, PhD) and/or training in parapsychology
are given highest priority review.
Successful candidates
will receive training in field investigation, the proper use of investigative
equipment, and how to document case findings. In addition they will
take an active role in investigating paranormal encounters around the
state.
