Overview


In an ongoing effort to standardize our processes and maintain a high level of professionalism, TPR requires each investigator to complete a course in the ethics of human subject research and abide by the Ethical and Professional Standards for Parapsychologists as published by the Parapsychological Association.

In addition, each team member is required to complete, a fifteen (15) hour training class that includes sections on professional ethics, introductions to parapsychology and psychical research, our investigative methodology and proper use of investigative equipment. Team members are also required to sign a nondisclosure agreement to ensure that any client information remains confidential.

Meet the Current Director


Tucson Paranormal is currently under the direction of Mark Boccuzzi. Mark's formal training is in computer science and he has worked as a video game designer and producer. More recently he was a project manager that the Exploratorium: The museum of science, art and human perception in San Francisco.

Mark has had a long time interest in parapsychology and has been investigating reports of hauntings for the better part of a decade. To date he has evaluated hundreds of cases of reported haunting phenomena and has conducted investigations at both historic sites and homes.

In 2005 he successfully completed the Summer Study Program in Parapsychology presented by the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) and the Rhine Research Center under the direction of Drs. Dean Radin and Christine Simmonds-Moore (his final research presentation was on the effects of group coherence on random event generators). From 2006 to March 2011, he worked as a
research specialist at The University of Arizona where he has conducted studies in mediumship, entity communication, and the effects of distant intention on biological systems. In 2010 Mark was accepted in to the Parapsychological Association a s an associate member.

When not looking for ghosts,
Mark is the Director of Operations and a survival researcher at The Windbridge Institute for Applied Research in Human Potential.
