How
much does TPR charge for an investigation?
We offer all of our services free of charge. In exchange for an investigation,

Does
TPR investigate every case that is sent in?
Unfortunately,
we can not investigate every case that comes in. TPR
is an all volunteer organization and since we do not charge for our
services, this means we need to be very selective about the cases we
take on.

What
kinds of cases does TPR investigate?
We have a specific set of criteria for selecting cases. However, cases
that involve active sites (the activity is happening now, not last month
or last year) and activity that has been experienced by multiple witnesses
are likely candidates for an investigation.

Sorry, but we do not analyze 3rd party images or audio at this time.

Are
"ORB" photographs really pictures of ghosts?
After conducting extensive research in this area, it is our position
that the photographic anomalies known as "orbs" are the result
non-paranormal phenomena. The most common causes for these images include
airborne particulates (dust, pollen, etc.) and insects caught in the
camera flash, light reflections, and camera processing errors. While
many people claim these images are the result of some type of paranormal
activity, these images can be easily reproduced by non-paranormal means.

How
do I get a degree in parapsychology, ghost hunting, paranormal investigations,
etc?
There is a big difference between getting a formal, advanced degree
in Parapsychology from an accredited university and taking a correspondence,
on-line certificate class to become a Ghost Hunter or Paranormal Investigator.
You should first decide on what kind of program or certification you
are interested in and why. For
information about a career in Parapsychology we recommend that you visit
the Parapsychology
Foundation, Parapsychology
Association and the Rhine
Institute web sites. There are a number of web sites that
offer correspondence training for Ghost Hunters and Paranormal Investigators.
These can be found by searching the Internet. Another option is to simply
educate yourself. Please visit our book
page for our current recommended reading list, also, the Parapsychology
Foundation offers a wide selection of video
lectures and books.
